Navigator Gas Orders Two More Ethane Engine Retrofits From Everllence

Everllence PrimeServ has signed a contract with Navigator Gas for the conversion of two of its vessels to ethane-running. Both conversions are based on eight years of service experience gained by Navigator Gas's Navigator Aurora, which underwent an identical conversion in 2018. The sister vessels Navigator Nova and Navigator Prominence will be retrofitted to gas injection ethane units, with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industries carrying out the work at its Nantong yard in China.

 

Details of the Contract

 

Everllence PrimeServ has signed a retrofit contract. It is with liquefied-gas company Navigator Gas. It covers the conversion of two vessels. These will be converted to ethane-running. PrimeServ is Everllence's after-sales division.

The contract has a proven basis. Both conversions build on prior experience. This came from the Navigator Aurora. That vessel had an identical conversion. Everllence carried it out in 2018.
