Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Maritime ASA has secured two contracts for its construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Australis in the Asia-Pacific region, with a combined firm duration of 250 days. The contracts are valued at the lower end of the company's $10 million to $30 million substantial-contract classification, with operations expected to begin in December 2026.

The two assignments will run consecutively, giving the vessel about eight months of contracted work. The agreements also include options totalling 75 additional days, which could extend the vessel's deployment if exercised.

Normand Australis will provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and subsea support services under both contracts. Solstad Maritime has not disclosed the clients, specific project locations or the individual contract values.

The awards strengthen the vessel's forward work schedule in the Asia-Pacific offshore market. The disclosed firm contract value excludes any potential revenue from the optional extension periods.
