Rodie Transport named a new tug. This is the seagoing pusher tug Demi-K. It was named on 22 August. It serves both inland and sea work. This includes push transport and towing.

The vessel has specific project work planned. It will transport silos to England. This is scheduled for late 2026. Further silo transport follows in 2027. Its design allows passage under low bridges.

Neptune Shipyards Activity

Concordia Damen Developments

 

Concordia Damen has made deliveries too. It recently delivered a hybrid workboat. This is the vessel Sea Lion. It went to a Dutch contractor. It followed successful sea trials.

The yard is also developing new designs. One is a dry cargo vessel design. It can carry 532 containers per trip. Another is a tanker design. This suits rivers with low water levels.
