ABL Named Marine Warranty Surveyor for Statfjord A Single-Lift Removal

Energy and marine consultancy ABL has been appointed by Allseas as marine warranty surveyor for the single-lift removal of the Statfjord A topside, a landmark decommissioning project. Allseas is undertaking the engineering, preparation, removal and disposal of the pioneering concrete gravity-base production platform in the North Sea. The removal will use Allseas' Pioneering Spirit, the world's largest construction vessel, to lift the entire topside in a single operation.
